Paid $20 last year and it's been great. The spring feature reduces some of the striking power but it works well to reduce the vibration felt in your hands so you can go longer without feeling pain. If you grab the d handle with both hands you can get a good pogo stick bounce going which helps break thin ice very quick

Just talking about getting one of these for all the ice we have. Likely cheaper than my local hardware store.

This will be awesome for clearing my windshield!

(I am joking. Please do not use this on your windshield.)

Lol wish there was a built in feature where you can attach a dumbbell/weight to it.

Depends on your driveway situation, but I have a shared alleyway that some neighbors drive over before the other neighbors have shoveled. The snow is compacted into ice after a while. and this is really the only thing that will break up that ice. That being said, I have one without the spring and you can achieve mostly the same effect if you propel it vertically downwards and not hold onto it when it strikes the ground. Let it vibrate to disperse the shock and catch it before it falls.
