Took 5 months to learn calculus. And its usefulness lasted a month after finals.
Took a 3 days to learn quarter circle them punch of a haduken. Its usefulness spanned 30 years across numerous games and made some life long friends. And stories for kids
Sibling had this and played it a bit over Christmas.
Pretty good collection overall. My only complaint is that the version of Street Fighter Alpha 3 included is the Arcade version. I grew up with the PS1 version, and so I miss all of the additions like World Tour Mode and the ton of added characters (Guile, Evil Ryu, Shin Akuma, etc). Pretty much every subsequent port had all these extras and more.

Did they ever fix online matching ? Maybe when I used it not many people were playing but it was hard to get an online game
There isn't any form of crossplay, so the playerbase is split between xbox/playstation/steam/switch. The best players would rather play on fightcade than this collection as well.

The whole point of the collection was arcade ports. I agree they probably should do something like the Alpha Anthology for PS2 that had everything.
How do the games run on the Switch? Any choppiness? How many FPS, 30 or 60?
They're fine. They run just like the arcade versions do at 60fps. There is some input lag with every platform version but non-tournament players won't notice it.
If you have friends that all play street fighter this is honestly a no brainer. I bring my switch with me everywhere and we will bust this out everywhere we go so we have casual fun street fighter matches on the go at all times. Definitely one of the best switch purchases ever! Kills so much time on those long flights !

Edit: game page seems to suggest that online multiplayer is available. Idk which games in the collection support it though

Ultra SF2 was also available on the PS3 store 1st. I still have it installed, pure HD goodness.
