I think 27" is best for QHD and 32" better for 4k.

Bought this back on July 13, 2022, when it was on sale. At this price point you are getting a really solid monitor for gaming and work.

i got this when it was $165. Pretty good monitor, can't complain. But yeah $210 not that great of a deal considering what it's gone for before. Still not a bad price though.

And openbox for 182 for x32.
I would think IPS monitors available "open box" are likely to have particularly bad IPS glow. At least I see people on deal sites like this reference returning the bad ones and trying to get a better one on the second try

32" with QHD is going to be about 92 ppi
27" with QHD is going to be about 109 ppi

i'd say you would notice the difference if you are doing office work, if you are only gaming or watching netflix it probably won't matter
i bought a 32" QHD for $200 and have no use for it. i hate slickdeals...
i really want a 27" QHD because it'll fit on my corner desk lol....

I mean you could probably move your desk a little bit to fit in the 32inch if that is your biggest problem with it

the s2721dgf uses the LG panel. a lot of youtuber reviewers said its great and also it was only $179 each. well worth the money at $179 each

no, lol like i reallly have a small cheapy corner desk like this https://i.pinimg.com/originals/38...d6268d.png but without the tall back thing.

i know i can use it but i dont want to sit close to the screen. my other option was to maybe find a stud behind and see if i can mount a swing arm vesa mount thingy.

There are vesa mounts that could work:

Since you said it is a cheap desk you could even drill a hole in the desk if you wanted to use a more stable way of mounting the mount.

Anybody bought this monitor before https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...UTF8&psc=1. How does it compare to the hp deal here.

Thoughts about size? Is 27" a sweet spot. Been looking for 32, but every good monitor in my price range is 27"
Ditto wanted 32 inch 4k panel ips but only va panel available so settling for this 27 inch lg 4k for 200

This is the one I'm eying. Right now there's a 10% off monitor code making it $270. I've got an Amex offer for 20% off too I could stack on top, plus the always around 10% cash back. That would make the price close to $200. But I want to hold out for a bit of a sweeter deal from Dell.

Also, off topic, I also want to do a price match to Microsoft and get the series S from dell too - it would be well under $200 with all the discounts. I'd play the Xbox series S on this monitor alongside my casual PC setup, a Samsung Galaxy book2 360 i7.
