this is garbage at 1k for a really dated GPU with only 16gb of ram - its a theft
I don't think you understand the point of the LG Gram line of laptops (minimum weight for a given size class).

2.83 lbs 16" laptop with RTX-2050 and a 12-th gen i7 CPU.

Sounds like definitely not garbage.

That's like half of the weight of a 16" Macbook.

It's always amazing when people who have no idea wtf they're talking about aggressively over-share their opinion

This isn't a gaming computer, it's a GRAM
The reasons to buy one of these are diametrically different to the reasons to buy a gaming laptop

The screens on these are amazing, and they run so cool. Really impressive laptops, especially the 17"-er. I've owned 3.

Take a look at this image and ask yourself if you think a 3060 can fit inside

I have the 14" and every time I pick it up, I'm still a little surprised.

I had the 2021 Gram 16 for a few months and it was a wonder of engineering. Ultimately I got a little tired of the poor speakers and also wanted a dedicated GPU to get back into gaming. But it was not a disappointment at all.

Have had 3 grams: 13", 16" 2 in 1, and a 17". All have been fantastic. Highly recommend this line of computers if you are in the market for an ultralight.

This is a pretty decent deal for a super light ultraportable laptop for its class, esprcially with a decent enough dedicated GPU, probably more than 3X faster than intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
I already saw some idots stating this to be an outdated GPU without even doing basic google search. In a nutshell, RTX 2050 is nothing but a stripped down RTX 3050 with same GPU die but 64 Bit memory bus and max lower TGP, to be fitted inside super slim laptops. This will give you pretty solid boost in any GPU intensive workloads like Photo and Video editing, Video encoding usinh hardware accelertion, basic renderring etc., over any integrated Graphics available from Intel or AMD.

BuyDig is awesome! However beware of the LG gram. I had to return mine due to keyboard issues that started within a few hours of use. Others report the same issue. Gram is a GREAT machine except it is not durable. Everything flexes. Keybaord is cheap.
