I've come to the realization that these threads are just drunken bar discussions. Anyone can pretty much say or ask anything without regard to relevancy, veracity or good taste. The misinformation essentially becomes a punishment for anyone posing questions that could be answered by the simplest google search. As Dogbert once said, "There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots."

This is a killer deal by the way. The $1260 deal was restricted to those qualifying for special programs like EPP or EDU.

Update: Edu program Has same price. Chat with customer service before check out get 2 Year care+. Chat with order service with order number after check out and get confirmation that they could do price match to 1259.99 before tax after shipping

Under normal lighting conditions OLED is more than enough. If you have a sunroom or a room with ridiculous light then yes the 90 and 95 are solid

This tv was sold by Samsung using the EPP login for $1250 few days back plus get free Samsung care via chat. Also that time additional Xbox controller was there not sure if it's still there

Thank you! Ended up pulling the trigger on the 85" qn90b for $2,429 and free 2 year warranty (chat with the expert online, use laptop if possible, couldn't get the discount to sync on the link they send you and the AAA store on mobile)

It's been less through EPP but for those without access, it was close enough for me.

Once you get the "Validated" screen, you then are prompted to enter a ZIP code to "find your AAA store" or something. Once you do that, you'll be fully validated. You can then pull up the Samsung link (even in another tab, which was very surprising to me) and it worked.
