If you click into the reviews page you can filter on this item only, or style. If you do that the reviews are pretty mixed on this one, with some accuracy and durability issues. I would pass for this much money.

Per project farm, this is the best one in term of accuracy and usability: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...s_li_ss_tl

$24, currently not available.

and this is #2, https://www.amazon.com/PREXISO-Re...PHB4&psc=1

Project Farm tested it recently.

https://youtu.be/xHsxIkjQCuo

It was easy to read outdoors, stood up to damage, but the measurement was a quarter inch out compared to several others and it was trickier to clip to a belt.

Result table at 18:42.

Is anyone really cutting material based on laser measurements? I only use it for reference/rough estimation or materials estimates. I'd never be cutting lumber or other materials based on a laser unless it was truly last resort.

Their torque wrench had a significant amount of readings that were out of range in the Project Farm review. I wouldn't call that "quality". Might be good enough for lug nuts, but I sure wouldn't trust it on anything important. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP4uECoH8cc
Depends. Whats the alternative? E.g. if a good torque wrench is $100 and the cheap one $20, what good does the $100 do if someone isnt buying it? For example - engine oil plugs have torque specs. My guess is relatively few people actually look up the spec for their vehicle and use a torque wrench, they tighten it "enough". Personally, I do use a HF torque wrench which I know is not great, but if not for HF tools being inexpensive, I probably wouldn't own a torque wrench at all.

If it says "Sold by XXXX, Ship by Amazon" then it's a 2nd party seller, not 3rd.
It is a 3rd party seller using Amazon warehouse. It doesn't increase seller credibility.

Wow, did the shills lose this one?
They came on so strong in the beginning, definitely paid SD for the deluxe "advertising."

No.
That is specifically what makes anything 2nd party... if Amazon is handling the storage and distribution. If it is fulfilled by Amazon, its a always 2nd party. If the seller fulfills the order directly, then it is 3rd party.

The issue is, this uses alkaline batteries, I wish they had re-chaging one, because once you put this along with batter in the tool box in the garage, after a month time, you opened and see that batteries leaked all over the inside of the tape and it will stop working soon.

Even electronics that require alkaline batteries can run on rechargeables...

Do you understand that 1st is you, 2nd is the entity you are dealing with, and 3rd is everyone else?

I, you, they. Actual, bona fide pronouns.

They even linked project farm's video and tried to make it sound good lol.

Actually watching the video made me cancel my order! It's a POS that couldn't even complete some of the tests.

It's a faking paperweight.

A 1st party seller (1P) is a brand manufacturer that sells its products directly to Amazon, who then sells them to the shopper. Such products are labeled "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com".

A 2nd party (2P) seller is the type of seller who relies on the distributor partnership to get their products shipped. This is when a brand sells to a distribution partner and the retailer then buys from that partner. Such products are labeled the "Sold by brand, ships from Amazon".

A 3rd party seller (3P) uses Amazon as a marketplace to sell directly to shoppers. Third-party sellers handle customer service for orders shipped directly from them unless the order is eligible for Amazon Prime. Their items are displayed as "Sold by merchant and Fulfilled by Amazon / Fulfilled by merchant". This is the way to distinguish third-party sellers of Amazon products from the inventory of other sellers on Amazon.

Please dont try to talk about a subject you dont have knowledge to accurately discuss.

All the tapes I've owned with autolock always end up failing. I think any tape I get in the future will be the normal locking switch style.
