I am getting my delivery tomorrow.
There is know issue with this model. Due to the slim profile the top area can be easily bended. There is know firmware issue with the brightness level downgrade to half.

Definitely fair to complain about Samsung's lack of support for formats (personally more irritated about Samsung's and LG's decision to not support DTS passthrough after finally implementing eARC and HDMI 2.1). But if you are on the fence about which TV to buy and picture quality is your biggest concern, this TV smashes everything else at this price.
DTS and DD have always been an issue with them, so my reluctance to upgrade but the wife (yes wife) wants a TV that I can cast/mirror/airplay to so this may win out after all.
Now to check the reliability issues, as the current Ks8000 65" ive never had an issue with so want to be upgrading to a POS
I dont recall that deal and probably would have bit

I ended up returning it and ordering another one. No issues with the second. Amazing TV but the quality assurance is severely lacking. Also, don't even try to clean the screen, if you have finger smudges learn to live with them because the antiglare coat will come off with slightest wipe of any cleaning cloth. You will end up with a black mirror during dark scenes, ruining the whole OLED purpose.
I love the tv but it is so stupid i can't clean it without damaging it. I'm sure samsung while have a class action over it. Shame.
