Getting my 65in thru Costco.com Item 9765095 Model QN65S95BDFXZA for about $1,799.99 with total 7 Years extended warranty. It cost more but have better return policy and longer warranty.

I am getting my delivery tomorrow.

There is know issue with this model. Due to the slim profile the top area can be easily bended. There is know firmware issue with the brightness level downgrade to half.

Love the Dolby Vision comments. Some folks would sooner buy an IPS panel TV with DV than a QD-OLED without DV. As someone who owns both an LG OLED65C9 w/DV and the Samsung 65" S95B w/o DV, the Samsung is absolutely superior in picture quality and the HDR format becomes an afterthought. The panel technology matters so much more than HDR format and increased white brightness (C3) alone will not be enough for LG to catch Samsung.

Definitely fair to complain about Samsung's lack of support for formats (personally more irritated about Samsung's and LG's decision to not support DTS passthrough after finally implementing eARC and HDMI 2.1). But if you are on the fence about which TV to buy and picture quality is your biggest concern, this TV smashes everything else at this price.
Funny you mention the lack of support, I have a 2016 KS8000, which because of the lack of passthrough formats, I have a 8k Denon that I can only part use (7 speaker setup that wont passthrough Atmos) because of Samsung's "If you want it upgrade" policy
DTS and DD have always been an issue with them, so my reluctance to upgrade but the wife (yes wife) wants a TV that I can cast/mirror/airplay to so this may win out after all.
Now to check the reliability issues, as the current Ks8000 65" ive never had an issue with so want to be upgrading to a POS

Do not connect your tv to Wifi if you value peak brightness. This is the main selling point for me as my room Is very bright during the day. Samsung nerfed the brightness. I'm on Firmware 1095. Roku and Apple TV connected to it, but tv itself is not on wifi. It WILL auto update even if you deselect the option.

Deciding between this, $999 LG B2 or $1299 C2. Are the quality issues as bad as they say?

Do not buy this TV! The picture is amazing but I have now had 2 different units that both began turning themselves off and on and when they are on the screen is 2/3 full of green pixels. Search for S95 green screen and you'll see a lot of posts just like this. The replacement TV that we were sent lasted 35 days, the original one lasted only 15 days. We asked for our money back but Samsung will not give us a refund because it's 5 days out of the refund period. Do NOT buy this TV, it's clear that quality control is terrible.

Heads up. I ordered this exact model back in December when this deal came up. The tv buzzes and makes some mechanical grinding/gear sound when it's off… Returned it and ordered a 2nd one with Samsung in January by asking them to price match it. Guess what? Same issue with the noises so I'm again working on another return. Back tv label looks used, so not sure if I'm unlucky or this is a known issue with this specific model number.
I ordered one during Blackfriday and it also came with a very loud buzzing noise near where the powercord is connected to the TV. I really tried to ignore it but it was so loud I could hear it from my kitchen 15ft away. I ended up returning it after making a video online and showing it to the rep that was trying to assure me it was just normal coil whine.

I ended up returning it and ordering another one. No issues with the second. Amazing TV but the quality assurance is severely lacking. Also, don't even try to clean the screen, if you have finger smudges learn to live with them because the antiglare coat will come off with slightest wipe of any cleaning cloth. You will end up with a black mirror during dark scenes, ruining the whole OLED purpose.

I love the tv but it is so stupid i can't clean it without damaging it. I'm sure samsung while have a class action over it. Shame.
