But from what I have read, Zinc is wonderful for immunity and may be potentially helpful to men especially as they age for prostate issues. Why? Well supposedly as most men start approaching 50, they are told to get off their primary source of zinc - red meat. The prostate happens to be where your highest concentration of zinc in your body is.
There is also a safe maximum you should take, so don't go loading up doing multiple doses at once.
I can post links but Google is your friend. What isn't known is how well you may/may not be able to absorb this, so always be a little critical of claims, and of course Google and whatever silliness I've mentioned here.
In my uneducated opinion, Vitamin D2 & K3 are best and you may see some of the combined supplements include a certain amount of zinc. You will also often see Vitamin C with a Zinc supplement.
2) hormone especially testosterone support
3) fights coronaviruses very well (cold, flu, covid)
4) fundamental in cell growth and division
Zinc is one of the few vitamins I'd argue just about everyone, especially men, should take.
