Very much over the limit. The Limit is usually 25500 to 27000 mah depending on the voltage of the cells used aka 3.7 or 3.8 volts, etc.

This is a 148 watt hour device (48 watts hour over the 100 watt hour limit) and it has a 3.7v voltage (actually 4 x 10,000 mah batteries together in a series per the bottom of the device in the customer review pictures)

I have this power bank and it does pack a wallop of a charge. Be aware, this is NOT a small power bank but worth its size. I bought this AC outlet charger to keep it charged up. If you use a low-power AC outlet charger, it will take well overnight to charge this power bank up.

If you have a steam deck, you want 45w output. Good deal otherwise, but yeah, might get the attention of the TSA.

I really want a brick like this with LiFePo4 batteries. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it's a thing yet.

One of the reviews for this thing mentions that the port to charge this is the same as the port that it uses to send charge out. Is that accurate? Is that normal/safe?
I have the Anker 335 Power Bank (PowerCore 20K) with great reviews and love it) and it charges the same way. On the 335, you have to hold the button for, however, seconds it says in the directions (i used a permanent marker and wrote the seconds in the batt) to triger the chargin. I think this technology is in the young stages.

What's up with Anker and their low power charging ? 30w limit ? All that capacity is just going to waste .

You might never see LiFePo4 tech in small power banks like these.
That battery tech is far less energy dense than standard Li Ion, meaning a similar capacity unit is going to be much heavier.
LiFePo4 is great for constant use, large setups. Its not great for occasional use and portability. It never was and never will be a direct replacement for Li Ion devices, the tech just isnt there. Its just another option for specific uses.

This is not a power bank. It's a power brokerage firm.

Honest question. Will it harm the power bank long term if you fast charge it vs using a charger like you get with an IPhone?

Thank you for your comments, I did read that, but rules change all the time. Im reading in some places it might be allowed as long as it's a carry-on, but I don't know. There is always a grey area with all these rules. I wanted to hear if anyone here got it taken away at the airport, that's all.
I bought this last year for plane travel, so I wont get hassled, biggest/cheapest I could find.

Read the TSA page they linked, you shouldn't have any problem taking this through TSA checkpoint. They allow up to 160Wh. Whether its in line with the airline policy is another thing.

Some airlines might ban them but you should have no problem getting through security considering the agents checking your carry-ons typically don't even know what airlines you are on nor are they going to bother to confirm if your battery is within the specific guidelines of the airline you are flying.
