TCL 65' class 6 mini led qled 4k uhd GOOGLE TV 699.99 Best Buy

ON CLOSE OUT.( I know its a 100.00 more than Black Friday) but at close out I doubt youll see less now. Its out at most places like amazon etc and YMMV at Best buy. Im not a fan of BB, but after looking for a bedroom tv with updated features and not Oled, this is what I pulled the trigger on. The picture pops and has 2.1 and the Dolby (not sure on the Atmos, some specs say yes). The picture was better than alot of the 1000.00 plus Samsungs (to me).I was trying to find something at Costco before their CC deal ended but I couldnt match this.
Again YMMV......BTW I never looked at TCL before this week. The difference between the 5 and 6 series is substantial.

The reason for the YMMV is because, they are getting sold out due non restocking, but this price it's been since new year

I have no idea. I just started shopping for a 65" last week, trying to get a decent deal at Costco before the cc advantage expired. This was the best bang for the buck I could find this past week. I posted it because its on clearance and amazon is already out of stock. Its not for everyone, I agree, its a bedroom set in my case.

So the rub here is it's not Roku OS it's Google os.

Is Roku OS really worth the extra money because all that's saying to me is that the Google os must be so bad it basically breaks the TV.

The 65 inch 6 series is several hundred dollars difference, so what's the deal with Google os? Is it that bad?

I've owned both. And returned the google os. It is complete garbage. Took me 20 minutes to even start watching a show because of all the crap it makes you opt in to.

I just pulled the trigger. I was looking at the Hisense U7H for $700 and this seems to be closer to a U8H/U8G so I pulled the trigger since they had them in stock at my local best buy.

You must have done something wrong or got a bad one. I had no problem with Google TV OS on Netflix, hulu, Paramount, peacock or Disney. Many bugs were fixed since it was released in 2021.
