Let me tell you, if there was anything that was truly anti-colic available out there, I would have bought it, price be dammed. I don't think I slept for the first two years of my daughter's life. So. Much. Crying. How something so small could be so loud all the time is beyond me. Parents with colicky babies, I feel for you. Solidarity. This 💩 ain't easy

I don't know how good of a deal this is in general for bottles, but it's lower than previous front page

It looks to me like this is a better option

https://www.target.com/p/dr-brown...A-51435594

since it has a variety of nipples that can be used as the baby gets older,
also only $27.99 right now, cheaper with redcard

These bottles leak over time from sterilization/bottle warming. It's from the nipple/lip. I wouldn't buy this again. I have 12 4oz bottles sitting here. It didn't help with my baby's hiccups either. Read other reviews and parents have similar experiences like mine. They have different versions and although it looks interchangeable and will tighten it isn't after close inspection. The nipples are a different size after closer inspection. I loved it at first based the size and how well it holds in the hand but such a disappoinment.

YES.

Ours leaked from threading between the top and the bottle. Tried every level of tightening, still leaked.

The dr browns bottle warmer has been great and I'd recommend that, but mam bottles have been better at reducing gassiness and are much easier to clean.

We used plastic dr brown for our 1st child, and then switched to glass for second. Easy change but makes a difference for not using plastic. And we throw them in dishwasher and they come out sparkling clean. Just don't turn on heat dry for plastic parts and we let them air dry on a dish mat. Been working well for us.

Yesterday, I picked up a wide neck set from target which has almost the same items but wide neck bottles. Also it's only 20.99 and I had an additional 20% coupon in my target circle account for bottles

I would recc just buying the 8oz bottles vs having 4 and 8. You'll move up to needing something bigger than 4-5oz by 3-4 months then the 4 oz bottles will be used as emergency spare bottles. I noticed it would Leak on the 4oz bottles once it is filled to 4 oz on both the 4oz and 5 oz bottles.

I hated these. They leaked sooooo much. I don't get the popularity. You look up "why do dr brown bottles leak?" And there's articles with: well, it might be one of these EIGHT reasons. F that.

Be careful with after wash agents. Studies have found they contribute to the destruction of healthy gut bacteria.

Peered reviewed source.

100%
Our toddler had bad colic for 5 months, and our infant has mild colic.

We tried everything, and would have paid anything, to help with our toddler.
It was brutal.

I was about to comment similarly. 1.5 year for our son until he's old enough for meds, then he's on it forever. I still wonder if he's encountered side effects even though not listed and Dr. said none, since he was on it for so long. Nothing helped apart from prescription meds. It was only me and my wife taking care of him while we both worked, and sleeplessness due to colic was wearing us out. If you're looking for solutions for colic, check with the Dr.s none of these stuff worked in our case. Nothing OTC.

FYI- the glass Dr. Brown's bottles break VERY easily. And when they do, they shatter into a million tiny microscopic size pieces that will take you forever to properly clean up. Softer wood floors, tile- doesn't matter.. I get that glass is glass and it breaks very easily, but i do believe there are certain types of glass that do not break into a million tiny pieces. These bottles do and it scares the crap out of me. I do love them though because it's easier to clean than plastic and the milk warms up quicker in the glass- but it's not worth the risk IMO. Regarding leaking- I found the bottles to leak a lot more with the inserts and also while in the bottle warmer. But like someone else above mentioned, it's best to keep the collar slightly loosened or off entirely while warming to prevent leaking.
