Keep in mind that the Rtings review is for a 65" with an ADS/IPS panel. This 85" has a VA panel, so overall it will perform better than the Rtings review suggests... especially for movies.

Excellent price.

Local dimming, bright picture, 4xHDMI 2.1, solar charging remote, solid build quality.

For just $400 more, this is a better deal than the lg86 and Sony85 deals posted recently.

Frontpage worth deal.

Employee email address sign up or AAA membership and access via AAA discount portal by searching Samsung, then shop now and validate identity for access to discounted Samsung. So far appears to be the same as EPP program pricing.

Strange they send a fedex label. Did fedex deliver it? Mine showed up today. I got an email yesterday saying it was delayed (AGSshipping) yet this AM I got a call asking when I would be around as driver was an hr away. Tv is perfect. I'm loving it. ITS YUGE!!!!
No, AGS delivered it. Hopefully they're more careful with it the 2nd time around. Congrats on the new tv.

Glad people got a working one. I'm returning it and getting that TCL deal. Not in the mood to keep unboxing/returning these beasts and stacking credit card refunds and charges. Would love to see the funny video of when the damage occurred.

I think so. It's one of those, if your already spending 1500, what's the extra 500, you know? That said, I'm calling AGS tomorrow to refuse my QN80B shipment, getting it refunded, and purchasing the QN90B.
did you refuse it ? how did it go? mine was already delivered.

Yes I refused mine because my shipment was deferred until 2/3. They just routed it back before it left the origination hub.

box looks fine overall, on closer look the bottom corner is crushed in an inch. May not take much to fold these screens.

When you guys upgrade your TV's, what do you do with your old TV? I think Samsung only gives $200 max for trade in. I got a 75" Sony xbr75x850e that is 5 years old and it struggles in my brightly lit Livingroom. Should I try to sell it on Craigslist or swallow the $200 trade in credit if they even give me that? Thinking of getting a 85".

I tried with Samsung & they said no trade In on TVs ( try your luck ) , best bit to sell on Craigslist. I will do the same .

I think you're right, looks like the trade in is trading in old phone for TV order (what??). Guess I'll work on selling the old TV on CL or FB before buying.

Bought two of these and spoke to a Samsung chat rep to get the warranty for free. Only granted the warranty on one, but I figure with two identical TVs it should be straightforward if I need to use it. I used AAA to get it and frustratingly it took 2 days from signing up for AAA before it would accept my credentials and give me the discount. Thankfully the deal was still there by then, so getting AAA saved me like $1,150 when accounting for the $50 membership cost. Ordered 1/27 and have an estimated delivery of 2/2.
Did they arrive? I'm curious what firmware they came with, I'd appreciate it if you could check
