I am a nun who teaches all subjects at a private Catholic school. When my wooden ruler broke, I ordered one of these stainless steel rulers. What I've noticed is that the children in my classroom listen much better. They are getting better grades and they behave much better than they ever did when I had a wooden ruler.

Lol, too funny! But seriously, this ruler is quite thin and flimsy, and you simply cannot use it for anything other than drawing lines (i.e. so not for disciplining kids or back scratching).

Well the thing about the Catholic church is that the way they get people to do what the Catholic church wants them to do is primarily through fear. It's either through fear of punishment now or in the after life. The punishment you receive can also be through the guilt and shame they taught you to have whenever you violate their rules, customs, and values.
