Sum up, this is an ssd using 5 year-ish old technology. Most popular ssd's actually use Tlc as well, so don't let that scare you off. I'd suggest using that spec sheet database to compare with other popular ssd choices and decide which level of tech suits what you want and your wallet 🙂

I completely understand this YMMV with anything electronic wise. I think if a person is super worried about there data they would go with the known solid drives like specific samsung and crucial drives and pay the premium.

Terrible price. The Teamgroup 2TB was down to $78. Why pay more especially when there is a massive oversupply of DRAM and NAND memory right now?

I've personally had 2 failed on me as well. Both sent in for warranty and now collecting dust. Upgraded to a Samsung SSD and happy since.
