If you're already invested in the Ridgid ecosystem and don't need the included battery in this deal, DTO has the original Ridgid High Torque for $120 (free shipping) today.

The original is actually rated with higher torque than the new version; 1500/1100 ft/lbs vs 1300/900 ft/lbs
Torque Test channel compared the two and the older Octane did in fact produce more torque, albeit only marginally. That's a great price if someone needs a big impact wrench. I have the Octane mid-torque and it serves me well.
*It is a good deal for who have Octane battery; specificaly the 3ah one (is the ONLY one has 21700 cells, the 2ah, 6ah etc...are not 21700)
On the TTC, it max at 791 ft/lb with the 3ah octane for the 15 seconds run.
When he used the regular Rigid battery (non 3ah octane or non max output), it max about 425 ft/lb 10 to 15 seconds one (he wrote "Nope")
*This is for the R86211.
I am interested to the R86212 model (the one on this thread). Is this the lowest price ever seen?

I believe so but they've been running this deal since the beginning of November with the January 30th expiration date. It's been posted several different times like most of these. You've got a couple more days to grab it before it expires.
This is for people that are not in the Ridgid system, or just want a high torque impact wrench. Plus you can't beat their lifetime warranty, and the battery is a high output (I'm guessing it's like the Milwaukee ones) and if one already have their batteries, they could sell the one that's included in the kit and in reality you only got the tool for $100.

Don't forget, the new Ridgid 8.0 Ah battery uses 21700 cells and is on sale for $107 with free shipping at https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...t/AC840080 (LSA still applies for blemishes tools). This should give all Ridgid impact wrenches a decent boost in torque. Ridgid is also coming out with a 12.0 Ah battery soon.

What is the model number of the one you have? Thanks

The high torque octane was over rated based on a actual performance. The new high torque is more accurately rated, which is lower but comparable to the actual results of the high torque octane.
The mid torque octane is rated lower than the new mid torque and the new one performed better.
Both new models are smaller/lighter due to higher RPM. Id go for the newer models personally.
I mean options are a $108 newer mid torque that is smaller/lighter, a $120 high torque octane. That is larger/heavier than the new high torque. Both from DTO. Or a new high torque for $160 with 4Amp max battery and charger from home Depot with some return bother.
