Good deal. How do you think this compares to the current direct tools deal with 40% off and free shipping? You can get the same two tools, with two individual sized bags, 1 charger and 4 batteries for $96, but they're "factory blemished" instead of this deal which is basically the same except for 2 less batteries and everything is new.

Direct Tools Factory Outlet is currently having a 40% or 50% off weekend sale. I was in the one in Denton Texas on Wednesday and they had this deal but "factory blemished" deal for $50. They also had the vacuum tool only for $10.

Didn't see anything blemished with the product, appears brand new and working great. Much better than the bargain basement Harbor Freight deals, plus cheaper.

I was impressed with the Direct Tools Factory Outlet, nice store, so if you are ever in one of the few remaining outlet malls, definitely worth a visit.

Factory Blemished is new, so that deal is much better.

Yeah, most of the inventory is new but some folks have reported getting stuff with imperfections or even possibly used (shouldn't be and maybe they're confusing with factory reconditioned but who knows). Everything I've ever gotten from there has been fine and appears to be new...super slow shipping and not really returnable (no stores anywhere near me), but I think I agree better deal at DTFO as long as what you get is in good condition.

If you have a local Direct Tools great, but their flat shipping rate is ridiculous.

Edit: Never mind they have a free shipping code this month. Yeah, jump on that. Pretty much unheard of with them, or it's been a while.

The combo is not if you're looking at combo from dto. Buying individually with more batteries from DTO and extra bag is the better deal.

This brushless set got trigger lag which may make your think its defective and it definitely will take some time to get used to

I have the impact driver and while I agree that there is a very slight lag when pulling the trigger, I think it's pretty manageable especially given the advantage of size and weight. I have 2 other Ryobi impact drivers of varying age and while they don't have any lag, they feel huge compared to the ones in this deal so I always reach for the compact. So much so that I'm basically trying to change out as many tools as I can for smaller versions! Now have Milwaukee 12v drill and driver for even smaller battery size (the impact driver in that set is roughly the same size as this impact driver) but that equivalent set is $199 and the tools are heavier. I think this Ryobi set is a pretty good deal.

These kits have more batteries and better batteries. The only advantage of the OP's deal is HD will probably ship quickly.
