It's the reference design card from AMD. You can get it at the AMD site for the same price right now. Makes sense to get it at MC though for easy returns or if you need a CPU as well.
Should check for any open box items at MC. Got 6950XT Red Devil for $616. Also saw a 4080 for $1049. Open item

Maybe this is a dumb question, but who makes this? Usually there's a partner like XFX, MSI, etc. but I don't see one listed. Is this direct from AMD?

Is this better than the rtx 4070ti. I'm planning to buy the 4070ti but the price is still too high
similar in non-RT performance. not better, but better value.
but with 4070ti you get better raytracing and DLSS 3.0, if that's important to you at all.

the only truly meaningful upgrade from a 3080 would probably be a 4090 if you want to game at 4k120 and you're not getting enough frames with a 3080.
PC Partner Group, they own Nvidia AIBs like Zotac and Inno3D. I think they also make cards for Sapphire.
