When buying from Costco I'd completely disregard manufacturer warranty. Frankly there is zero reason to deal with the manufacturer when you can literally just take the items to Costco for a full refund.
We have an old Oneida set that has lost pieces over the past 20 years and with a family of 6 we often find ourselves short. I've tried finding those extra pieces but Oneida no longer sells them.
This deal looked attractive but even though Costco's return policy is awesome it's not worth the hassle to get these then have to return them if they perform so badly.

Any thoughts?
This is s stretch I know, but I know that club stores get a different model of Samsung TV's than you'd find at other retailers, the model # will be substantially the same, with a different letter in one spot that distinguishes these sets from others, and anecdotally it seems the sets are different than sets sold elsewhere. For example, ostensibly the same set sold at both Costco and Best Buy, the Costco set has better sound quality.
In this case I think the best bet would be if someone had a photo of the box from Costco. Ultimately that's what I'd trust the most.

opened mine up last night and right on the front of the packaging it said 18/10.
Nice feel to the set
Wake up people; this is like the "Made with 100% Juice" labels. Sure they started with 100% juice, then they added water and sugar to water it down.
At least it's a fine set if just looking to fill out some missing spoons or forks.

Or when people understand words but use them in the totally wrong context. "Bigly" comes to mind.
