Great light, not so great price.
This is the regular sale price, I remember when I first bought this light it came with a 2ah for $59.

I bought this last time and it is an excellent small light. Keep in tool box all the time. I am a DeWalt guy but have a couple of M12 items and this is one of my favs.

Same here. I really like this light, especially for working on cars, but I don't feel like it is worth the regular retail price. Always a good opportunity to catch it on sale.

Great light and very convenient. The USB charging portal is very useful too. Sometime I use this light as portable battery to charge the Arlo cameras. So I do not have to take down and cameras to charge.

Waiting til it hits < $50 or gets updated with USB C.

Great light, and I have a ton of flashlights. Like Candlepowerforum quantities 😀

Of all the fancy flashlights I own, this damn thing is my favorite. Worth it.

For those who have this, is the light bright enough at 700 lumens?

Trying to fix a suspension on a car, work on a furnace, stuff like that, it's great. Trying to light up a whole room, it would not be great. It's a good task/area light for a small to medium sized area. Depending on the job this or the tall dewalt stick light deal are the ones I always use unless I need to break out an "area" light like the rocket tower.

Definitely for close up tasks. Nice and wide flood.

I have two of these. SUPER useful/fun to use both when working underneath the car or anything. Don't have to constantly rearrange the light. Also you get double the chance of getting blinded by the piercing light lol.

Price is meh, think I got an extra battery at this price last year or so.

how does this compare to those normal worklights?

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../320631295

or the defiant one with USB-C and magnets on the back (no link for that one but I got it at homedepot too)

To me this is a better form factor, you get the potential to run much longer with a big battery based on the reported run times, this has a magnet, I prefer to charge my "system" batteries than have to remember to charge individual items that have their own or proprietary power source etc. Performance wise they should be similar at least on paper.

Does anyone know how long the light stays on when a 1.5mah battery is used? I have 4 of these batteries left unused and if the battery lasts a couple of hours it sounds like I should pick this up

Did some napkin math after seeing that a 4.0mah battery lasts 24hrs. a 1.5mah battery will allow it to stay on for around 6hrs. not bad!

It usually lasts less than 6hrs on high for me with a 1.5 mah battery closer to the 4hr range. On its low setting it lasts me a whole 8 hr workday.

Not a bad price for an awesome little light. This has replaced my large 500w halogen lights for working under stuff in the garage.

If your in the market for a nice little light and are already invested in the m12 stuff its a solid buy.
