Great light, not so great price.
This is the regular sale price, I remember when I first bought this light it came with a 2ah for $59.

I bought this last time and it is an excellent small light. Keep in tool box all the time. I am a DeWalt guy but have a couple of M12 items and this is one of my favs.

Same here. I really like this light, especially for working on cars, but I don't feel like it is worth the regular retail price. Always a good opportunity to catch it on sale.

That's a nice looking light too - and it's on sale right now supposedly. EDIT: looks like that's the normal Home Depot price, actually.

I use the Bosch FL12 myself, daily. Very handy

Bought 3 lights at the end of 2022, from HD. Using 2 all the time, 1 still in the box as spare. Excellent light but clear LED plastic already scratched up 20-30 scratched on each or easy scratches. I tried to cut Tempered glass screen protector, but it cracked when I tried to cut it to size. Can anyone recommend some screen protector to attach so LED clear plastic stay scratch free and protected?

Could use plastic protector film and then replace as necessary

DCL050 is not really the same form factor but serves the same purpose. I tend to grab the M12 light due to size but the 050 is brighter and with a big battery setting it on the ground or a similar surface is actually easier. The flex head hinge is a little loose for my taste also but it's hard to make one light that can do everything for everyone tbh.

A sample of paint protection film will do it. https://www.ppfnow.com/products/3...mple-sheet

Dewalt is definitely being in the lighting game, however their on board tool lights are superior to m12

I also have the Klein and it's very very good. Similar form factor to the Bosch FL12 that was also mentioned above, but slimmer. The light cast is cooler than the M12 and the color rendition is not quite as good.

As something that goes in your kit bag, or fits between narrow spaces, this m12 is annoyingly large. But as a replacement for one of those 500 watt halogens that sits on the floor, this thing is amazing.

For anyone looking for something slimmer and very positionable, also with a strong magnet, I just bought a pair of these usb-c rechargeable lights:

Just wanted to say this is an excellent light, very bright, use it daily for my work.
Won't using daily for work kill battery lifetime faster than normal? This is why I wish items like this had a hybrid plug in option, no?

I use it daily during work (I use it on setting 1 -Lowest, but still very bright) which amounts to approx 60-90 mins usage at 5 times a week. I had this light with same battery for about a year, and haven't noticed any demenishing battery live as it still last me the entire work week.

As others have said, great small form factor light that works very well for small work areas and tasks. My go to light.
