5 year warranty from Crucial is solid. That is what made the decision between crucial P3 and teamgroup M34 which is same price, TLC and cache DRAM. Lots of comments about dead teamgroup in hte reviews.
This is funny. I have 979 evo which is similar in speed add this crucial for my boot drive and it's wicked fast enough.
For all your newbies, do NOT pay attention to comments like this.
It's still fantastic as a boot drive. Majority of NVME out there installed is this speed and slower.
Recently installed 980 pro and truly can't tell a difference.

Are you stupid or are you dumb? It's asinine to need 4TB as a boot drive. Stop spreading misinformation fvcktard.
It's the 1TB WD Black SN750 SE. I bought it sometime early last year for $70 (it was on sale). I've done tests running the same games side by side with a friend. He used his stock SSD against my "slow" one and mine loaded everything and ran it just as fast. I actually got it from GameStop, but I don't see it on their site anymore. Here's an Amazon link anyways. https://a.co/d/0l38oUg
Yep. I wish people would stop spreading misinformation. I'm sure many people missed out on great deals, just because someone told them it was too slow.

But they're all ~$1,000 range, so...
I recently installed a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB in the primary slot, to install and run Windows 10/11 and my most used apps. If I want to put a higher capacity stick in the secondary slot, either 2TB or 4 TB, to install apps, games and frequently accessed data on, will it make a meaningful difference if it's 4.0, or will 3.0 be fine?
