Bought one of these 2 years ago. Frets desperately needed to be filed and truthfully never been able to get rid of some of the excessive fret buzz. But to be fair I haven't put too much effort in to it.
oh and the knobs are all sorts of messed up, like can rotate 360.
There's a lot of value here for the coin. I will point out that the neck on these is very different from most other Ibanez lines. Ibbys are known for their thin, svelte necks, but this is much more of a P-bass style neck. Quite a bit beefier.
I got one of these from Sweetwater a few months ago. The nut slot for the low e was wider than the string and cut pretty deep. After replacing the nut and doing some minor truss rod and action adjustments, it's been a pretty solid bass for the money.
Got this one ordered. I started with the Mikro series but the dumb bridge went out and so returned it. Got a 5 string Michael Kelly 5 string but always wanted a 4 to really practice on. Happy a sub 200.00 finally came available. Also, I love this color scheme.
These are really good for the money. I bought one like 5 years ago as a starter bass with the intention to upgrade if I got into it, and honestly I haven't felt the need to upgrade. I did get some better strings but other than that, there's just not really much I feel like I would change.
