I got a notification that Comenity Bank ran an Experian credit check on me. I paid in full for the phone with credit card and chose the $20 monthly plan. Anyone else experience this?

Is there a reason so many people don't want to use the Google fi service? Was thinking of switching from Verizon

Could you please post a screenshot of that?

As far as getting an answer from Fi support, a few days ago people tested their GV number when ordering and got "This number is eligible", but at the same time some FI reps said "Yes" and some said "No".
Again - can folks not ask about GV #s? There are some pinned posts and I put a Q&A specifically about this.

The more folks ask explicitly about GV#s, the higher the likelihood it doesn't get allowed. (Which screws all of us who - despite the caveats - have gone ahead with using GV#s).

What made you think so? I just did a dry-run order at 12:49pm Central and some colors were out of stock but the green one was still available. See screenshot below.

Please note that you still have the opportunity to change the port in # AFTER you receive the phone BUT BEFORE activation IF you don't want to take a chance:

Also see my posts about using a GV # now to place the order BUT you can edit that # and replace it with a valid port # after you receive the phone BUT BEFORE you do the activation as the port transfer will be done then.

I mean, on this thread, ppl are saying this doesnt work

Plug in your GV number ( checking porting eligibility ) and once you see the green check mark, screen shot and save it!

If.. *If* it comes down to Google denying the promo because of that issue ( I seriously doubt it.. but ) you have proof that they ( Google ) approved the port eligibility!

Always take screen shots when enrolling in ANY promotional offers.. I took screenies of every step!

I think the green is coming in and out of stock or it is a glitch. I tried to buy one but by the time I get to the checkout, it says it is out of stock again.

Doesn't add up.. a credit (hard-pull?) when paying outright and porting a number to a pre-paid service ( Fi ) ?
Nope.. I don't see anything at my end ( plus, my credit files are frozen )
