Trade-in offers got updated. They hve slaced more than 70% from Tradein that iniatially posted
So up until now I thought Samsung was controlling the trade-in values and not the individual carriers.

Do we know if Google Fi is slashing the trade-in value? Or is that coming directly from Samsung?

I'm just curious.

S23 Ultra OOS. That is what I get for trying to read 122 pages of comments.
If you actually did read 122 pages you'd know that it goes in and out of stock, just refresh periodically.

It might be true. Last year samsung had phones preordered this far in start to arrive the next month(or even unavailable). However, last year samsung had way better trade deals, so the earlier ship date this year could show that people arent ordering from samsung directly this time. Could help that doing it via the providers(att, tmobile, etc) is more likely to work with their dedicated agents, rather than samsung general support, and also better deals.

Google fi's stock is likely also way smaller than samsung, and probably didnt anticipate the amount of people doing the fi method.

At the very least, if samsung somehow has an offer thats very good after launch, can cancel the order here and do that instead and likely get it sooner. But to do that, the trade in for s22 ultra would have to be 980 to beat this deal at its minimum: 600 plus 280 trade in, plus the 180 from storage increase, minus 80 for 4 months of fi. And i say minimum because you should be able to sell it for 400, maybe 500+ without issue. So assuming 500, the trade in would need to be 1200, which i highly doubt.

So speed vs value sadly
I don't mind waiting another 2-3 weeks. At least I got $500 off for a new phone that's just released but I'm hoping it's just a bad delivery estimate.

I'm in the same boat as you, flip4 shipped yesterday, another arriving 3/3-3/10. Maybe you can activate it individually with $20 plan and do the drawer thing while keeping tmobile (just for 4 months, you lose discount deal), or you can always return the device, has to be within 14 days of delivery though. Does anyone have more info?
How do I get a $20 plan with 3 lines? I am charged $25 per phone

Everyone is talking about a referral code but have no clue how to get that

Have you actually done that? Redeeming TF rewards points for an airtime card and it'll ask for the phone number to apply the airtime card to. How are you going to start a new line using reward points?
Yes, that's the phone number I'm porting now from Tracfone to Google Fi for this S23 deal.
I had a couple of thousand rewards points and I put them to good use for a free phone number to port for this deal.
Did it through chat on the Tracfone app. Chat rep assigned a phone number to the 500/500/500 30 day plan.
But, as I said, IF your S23 ship date is way into March, this and any other 30 day Sim plan will not work unless you pay to renew it for another 30 days.
My expected ship date is 2/17 or so.
But, if you have enough extra rewards points you can get a 60 day Tracfone plan, etc.

Can I activate and put the FI sim in the drawer on day 1 and keep it n the drawer for 120 days and pay for the Fi for 120 days:

And use the S23 with my current Metro service with Metro physical sim from day 1?

(sorry sounds like a repeat question but its not)
