Does anyone know if the S23(base) goes back in stock? I only see the S23U goes in and out of stock(right now it's still available) but not the S23.
I think it probably will come back in stock like the Ultra did. Fi probably restocking after the weekend.

Just cancelled my S23 Ultra cream color and got a Black.
I assume a cream will be available soon, if that is what you want.

Can someone TLDR and tell me what the surefire safest way is to port-in? The community wiki is tossing in a bunch of information together and I'm not sure which one. Hello? Tello? Ebay Boost Mobile?
This is my first time ever pre-ordering and first time ever porting-in.
What happens during the 4 month contract Google Fi plan if the Boost Mobile Ebay numbers are only valid for 14 days? Or does putting it in a drawer prevent Google Fi from discovering that the Boost Mobile number got disabled during those 4 months?
I just bought a 3 month boost prepaid card for $15...

I ordered my S23 on Feb 1st. My order shows it's coming between March 1st to the 7th. When I checked in with the order chat, they claim it's Feb 20th to the 21st.

I tried couple of agents and they both claimed the same dates despite my screenshot I sent them.

How reliable are the dates the agents see on their end?

pre-ordered on the 3rd. said i would get it by the 17th. today it is pushed back to march 9th but they still continue to take "pre-orders" when i talked with live chat they said the pre-orders were so big that they had to push the dates back...

but here they are taking pre-orders still to this day. asked to speak to a supervisor about the issue multiple times and every time chat gets disconnected as they have "already answered my questions"

called in to talk to a supervisor and nope you cant. they can only escalate the issues. fark google

I thin none of us works at Google to tell you that.

I mean, in Fi's defense, they did answer your question. It's a pre-order, and I'm sure the date wasn't guaranteed, it was "expected".

What are you planning on telling the supervisor? You are welcome to cancel your order at any time if you aren't happy with the arrangement. I cancelled my original order and they quickly refunded my card and I ordered a different color. My shipment date got pushed back as well, but I'm sure throwing a fit about it isn't going to change it.

That's a huge risk to take. If that person activates it on fi before the 120 days, you're getting charged back the $600.
Thanks for pointing to the risk. Do you know if this was reported by anyone in other Fi deal threads?

Fi is unreasonably stupid if they have these restrictions in place. What if some one coming from iPhone wanted to try S23, but ended up not liking Android and wanted to go back to iPhone?

What is the thought on what this would sell for in four months? I was going to grab this but now thinking $700 in cost and maybe $850-900 after selling fees is it worth it? Not bad but just curious, am I missing something, thanks?
You're not buying this to resell, you're buying to use on Day 1. Not really a reseller type deal here. If you think more along the lines of free usage for a year, you're more on the right path.

A buyer of a Fi phone has 15 days to return it without obligations. If the iPhone user doesn't like the S23 then return it before 15 days.

Just curious.
For those ordering other than Phanton Black, do you use a clear case or none at all. I only ask because I have ordered phones in the past with a colored back but immediately installed a case, always black. I had considered a clear case but did not know if they provide the same level of protection and I read that most turn yelllow over time.
My Note 20 Ultra is white and I always wanted a clear case to show off it. However, after trying many different clear cases, they all seem to yellow and get nasty after a few weeks.
I simply went back to a normal black case and am unable to see the white of the actual phone.

Does Fi charge restocking fee? what about return shipping?

Some people prefer to trade/sell phones instead of returning so to not incur any loss due to restocking fee and return shipping.

Also, some may take beyond 15 days to come to the decision of switching phones.

I've returned a Fi phone within the allowed 15 days, no restocking fee, they provided a prepaid FedEx shipping label. Info in the link in my previous post.

If someone can't make up their mind within 15 days, then be prepared to be charged for a restocking fee and/or return shipping. The policies can be found before purchase. If some people don't like the policies, then don't make a purchase.
