1) This is available for the same price (well, a penny more) at Wal-Mart, it's their regular price, and it's available at the store (depending on location....), or shipped.

2) If you need one, or you haven't checked your broom in a while, and it's ratty, with chunks of things you can't identify stuck in the bristles, you should probably get this. I happened to check this out the other month, as I needed a new dust pan, and not only is it pretty solid, but if you look, you'll notice the dust pan handle has a "foot", which is made for you to ~stand on~ if you want, to hold it in place.while you sweep into it, so you're not bending over. I know it says this in the product description, but I can vouch that it actually works, and is an improvement above the norm, in so far as one can expect improvement and durability in a $14 plastic item. Keep in mind, it adds inches to the depth of the dustpan, which didn't work for me, as I sore broom/pan flat up against a wall along a passageway, where it would stick out awkwardly if it was a few inches off the wall.
