Not yet, right now this is considered the best gaming monitor money can buy (mainly because of its Samsung made, QD-OLED panel.) However, this is the year of OLED gaming monitors and several OLED monitors are slated for release. (LG, MSI, Samsung) This is a 34 inch inch monitor so obviously its far smaller than 45 inches, Go to RTINGS,com and search for this model number, they posted their review last month.

I have perfect vision and it was like staring at an out of focus picture. It's not arguable man I don't know what you're failing to understand, the sub pixel layout is different than most other monitors and the text is LITERALLY less clear, it's a fact. Enjoy your monitor but man you need more of an open mind.

If anyone is considering the Corsair it is not recommended even to the Dell QD-OLED "read conclusion" from reviewer

Also I would not recommend this monitor due to the fact that bending the OLED may induce damage to the Corsair monitor. The panel has inferior brightness even running at 240hz and would not trust Corsair Warranty as nothing is specified in the warranty in regard to the user claiming monitor damage when bending the screen. At 2x cost of the DELL QD-OLED I think one would be better off buying the 42" C3 OLED "real 4k" vs a very custom resolution at full screen on the corsair that many games would not support.

"Problem is, it does have to be the right content. It only really delivers the full HDR experience with darker images contrasted by small bright objects. The Xeneon Flex's full-screen pop is disappointing. The low resolution isn't great when it comes to using this screen as a conventional monitor for general computing, either".

Can anyone recommend a superior monitor that is 34"+, 1440p, doesn't have "Samsung" printed on it (because THAT is a company that I can verify first hand who won't honor a warranty) and is/flexes to 1000R?

I installed the Capital One shopping extension yesterday and just got an email with "Earn 30% back in Shopping Rewards!". Is this the email I'm looking for? I was under the impression it was a 30% coupon, not 30% in their redeemable credit.

It's redeemable for gift cards for most major places like Walmart. I don't know if they have Amazon but if they do I am doing that one. It won't be statement credit but $300 is a lot that I can go spend on something else I want . Glad the directions worked for you though

I did the same and they emailed me 15% off. You are correct. The rewards will end up as credit for e-gift cards. They seem to have a decent selection of that. I didn't get the 30% only 15%.

Hold out, they sent me a 15% as well

Maybe even go through the process of adding them to your shopping cart again and advancing through checkout until just before you hit the final confirmation, then close out and wait. Make certain your account is activated and confirmed as well

There is also a trick where you activate a 20% coupon for a galaxy watch and then just toggle to the DWF while still on the dell website and you can get 20% that way, however, it is not as clean since you are sort of tricking their system or high of a % as the other method.

This F version of the monitor has some hdr1000 issues that dell is supposed to fix with a firmware update that the non F version has no problem with, even though the non f version is not user firmware upgradable due to the gsync module.

will dell actually ever get around to releasing that firmware? shrug

If you are inquiring about the dell qd-oled which uses the samsung panel , you would want a Gsync version and it does 175hz at 8bit, 144hz at 10bit . You wont see a difference in gaming. You would need to be running photoshop or some expensive photo editing software to really see the difference..

I am running mine at 144hz but may switch it back to 175hz gsync

someone on here talked about it and was not aware of it until i manually switched it in the nvidia control panel at 144hz.

This one on sale only does freesync/VRR ,

I got the 30% email, but after looking at the gift card selection, I wasn't a big fan. Easiest to spend / most worth it would be on: eBay, Walmart, Lowes/Home Depot. If it was a straight cash back, I probably wouldn't hesitate to bite.

That said, I think I'm going to pass. Samsung's Gen 2 QD-OLED will be out this year. LG's MLA is also coming out this year. Just too much advancement in such a short period of time.
