I noticed that Visa gift cards linked fine, but if I try to pay to someone with a Paypal Me account, it always fails even if I select Goods & Services.

Why would there be a "purchase fee"? And why would it be $6.95?
all open loop cards (visa, mc, amex) have a purchase fee

When buying a MO at Wm, do I need to set up the PIN ahead of time, or can I just put in any PIN when I first swipe the gift card at Wm?

I've never purchased a gift card that had a purchase fee. That's why I was asking. I've bought ones from Amazon and chewy directly and none of those had purchase fees. They were even bought at discount from sales they had. Big tip, Amazon selling gift cards at a discount is a bear when they randomly decide not to honor the face value. I had many calls and chat sessions with Amazon over 10 I bought last year and in the end, they gave me back more than I spent on the actual gift cards rather than just honoring the gift cards' face value purchased at a discount.

Just use cash as a gift. No need to buy these things. We got one as a gift and did not use it for 2 years and it was all gone due to no usage fees. So dumb.

Capped at $200 per transaction , does that mean one visa gift card per transaction?

Has anyone gotten their card locked by the bank by purchasing the same amount multiple times at the same store?
