and this very helpful video

I'm guessing this comes with a hard drive caddy case so hang onto that... more than likely for a 2.5 form factor ssd drive which are getting pretty darn cheap nowadays, more than likely you've seen a slick deal post that mentions one
https://slickdeals.net/deals/ssd/
kind of sad the crucial mx500 isn't in stock right now at amazon
the ram upgrade link above mentions that you can add a 16 gb ram stick which I would definitely do ... like this one

(if you're wondering how I found this do a google search for the laptop model number, A515-46-R3UB and the words crucial memory and it will pop up the crucial website with the exact ram stick and model number compatible with your laptop )
at $42 for the ram definitely worth the investment.... and the m2 ssd drive on there?.. that's a small amount of storage space , grab this secondary drive (spend at least the $47 for a 1 TB drive)

order that all at once on amazon and make sure you select the "free returns" option so you can return anything that doesn't work out... I found that rather than having to use a prying tool a very small flat head screwdriver worked but sadly it also scratched the nice aluminum/silver finish on the laptop case

and grab a cheap 16 GB usb 2.0 drive (or 3.0 drive if you're willing to pay the bit extra) to make a recovery drive to restore the laptop back to it's original condition if necessary ... do a search on windows 11 for "recovery drive" ... you'll have to do some searching but I think if you type the words "recovery drive" in the windows 11 search bar it should pop up the tool to make you create these on the usb drive.
I'd strongly recommend grabbing a second 16 gb usb drive when you place this amazon order, download and install macrium reflect free on the laptop , create the recovery media macrium reflect will show you how to do and back that windows image up periodically onto that second hard drive you installed into the laptop (to save space you can delete the old backup each time you make a new one ) .. you'll be happy you did this when windows decides not to cooperate for no apparent reason and you'll have to use macrium to restore windows to a previous working condition (in theory the tools built into windows like system restore and so forth should do this but in the past I've found their reliability to be "iffy" at times)
Even Alder Lake appears around $300 (with upgradable memory):
