Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

As was stated earlier this is just Tiger Direct in name as they went out of business and the name was purchased. However, the old TD would do this shit once a year, where they would have a 'price mistake,' tons of people would order, they would cancel but put all the people on their ad list. This was a way for them to harvest email addresses. Maybe the new owners found the memo telling them about the technique. As for adding them to spam they used to use about 30 different email addresses to send out their ads, so eventually you could put them down but it took a couple of months. Your best bet would be to try and get a price match of to use a junk/temp email address. Just an FYI.

It says Certified Refurbs right on top of the item page. If it's refurbished by Apple, it should still carry 1 yr warranty, as I recall.
