Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

It's pathetic that they resort to these stupid lies so that they don't look like they're lying about their "price match guarantee". They are under no obligation to ship anything at these absurdly low prices, but they should be honest about why they are not doing it. I don't know if they are doing it for legal reasons or if they think people will buy the excuse. It would just have made more sense if they said that they believe that TD has a price mistake and they are unsure if that company will be shipping orders themselves so they will not price match them. An honest answer like that would go much further than a pathetic made up excuse. Nowhere on the TD site does it mention that the product is supplied by a third party warehouse or seller.

People think they're superior commenting how there's no way these ship. But the old heads here know that plenty of insane price mistakes have shipped over the years. Yes, most of those died quickly, but it's not like this price was SO insane that they have no chance. The main issue is just how long it's been alive, not the price itself. I've seen companies eat a loss on deals like these plenty of times.

I did just read an article about the founding members of Tiger Direct. Both went to prison for some very serious business related offenses! OUCH! But, still, I did receive massive number of good deals from TD over the years.

Apparently Carl and Gilbert went from living in mansions and driving high end cars to wearing pin-striped pajamas and eating shi#$! on a shingle for some years...and probably neither has an Ipad in prision!

Founders convicted of fraud
In 2014, brothers Carl and Gilbert Fiorentino were arrested and charged in federal court with scheming to obtain $9 million in kickbacks and other benefits and to hide their gains from the Internal Revenue Service while working as senior executives at Systemax Inc. and its TigerDirect Inc. unit. The government alleged the brothers schemed to obtain kickbacks for steering company business to certain contractors between 2002 and 2011. In one case, the brothers received more than $9 million in cash and other payments for steering more than $230 million in business to an Asian supplier of computer parts and accessories.[26] In 2015 Gilbert Fiorentino pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge, while Carl Fiorentino pleaded guilty to both fraud conspiracy and tax evasion. Carl Fiorentino had faced significantly more time than Gilbert Fiorentino, but U.S. District Judge Jose E. Martinez decided to sentence them to similar prison terms. Gilbert received 5 years in prison while Carl received 6+1⁄2 years.[27] In March 2016, the Fiorentino brothers were ordered to pay a total of $35 million in restitution to Systemax.[28]
