Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

tried to price match via phone with BB and they at first said no problem and then was put on hold and they said they won't honor TigerDirect as they sell from a third-party. I pointed out the listing is directly from TD and they wouldn't budge

I had the same happen to me. Shady on BB's part. It is one thing to say it is a price mistake and we are not honoring it. It is another thing entirely to tell all your staff to make up a 100% BS story about it being a third party when there is zero evidence of that. They know that is false. That is a straight up lie meant to make you go away.

If you price matched with Best Buy, I recommend that you re-check the Apple Model# that they gave you... mine are wrong.

I called and had them price match an Apple 10.9" iPad Air (5th Gen), 256GB, WiFI+5G, Starlight (Apple Model# MM743LL/A). They gave me an Apple 10.9" iPad Air (5th Gen), 256GB, Wi-Fi, Starlight (Apple Model#: MM9P3LL/A).

I got the version that is worth $100 less... Frown For $391.99...

You can still go to store and get the correct one? Because they have a serial number tracking with the purchase. Unless you ordered the wrong one to begin with and price matched to an expensive one.

Actually, the first Best Buy rep I talked to came back quickly and said that was below Best Buy's price so they would lose money and couldn't price match or something to that effect.
