Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

No... They are slimy AF when it comes to price matching. They rarely allow it because I've tried price matching with them in the past and the success rate is low. It's a waste of time and they will make up a bs excuse to deny you to congratulate you for wasting your time!

My order status became 'pending review', I guess they might cancel our orders. For a good reputation retailer, it might honor the price but for TD, I doubt it.

Why is everyone pissed at Best Buy? If you wanted the iPad order it from TD. If it turns out that TD ships the iPads for this price everyone's happy. If it's a price error on TD's side, why should BB sell a product at a loss? Would you?

You can guarantee that BB will change their price matching policy after cluster.

Agreed, besides it's believed TD wanted to put at least some apple SKUs on sale, may be 10th Gen. iPad or different color options or older models, could be an incomplete query executed in the database OR deliberate attempt to clear out inventory like stock quantity > 1000 then price/2 😄

The anger against BB is not because they won't price match; it's because of their lies. They could have said they won't price match because it is a pricing mistake, but instead came up with a bogus excuse about being shipped by a 3rd party. Also their attitude on the phone was less than friendly.

Also from past experiences, I've had issues with BB price matching their own website when in-store.

The telephone rep that did the price match for me was super nice and professional, but that was in the morning before they shut it down. I was able to pick one up via in store pickup. I just think they were flooded with thousands of calls and got tired and annoyed
