Some interesting facts.
I noticed Pizza Hut and Jet's pizza are coded as Merchant = Restaurants while Domino's is Fast Food.
In that case, if I want a pizza and the $5 rebate, I should order from Jet's or Pizza Hut but not Domino's
These are the others I have from my previous statements that are Merchant = Fast Food
Arby's
Chipotle
McDonald's
Wendy's
Firehouse Subs
Subway
Jimmy John's
Panda Express
Jersey Mike's
Shake Shack
McAlister Deli
Boston Market
Burger King
Panera Bread
Krispy Kreme
Popeyes
This offer was available under my debit card and Amazon prime card

Am getting new card due to fraudulent charge I reported to them since I get transaction notifications (so much for Chase's fraud alert algorithm) and didn't see any offers for my card. Maybe won't show up till the new card is activated.
My question is same. At other times I have noticed that for some pizza merchants Chase shows them as Fast Food which is technically not restaurants (I believe the merchant codes are different)
Wonder if Fast food is excluded for the purposes of this bonus.
In that case McDonalds, Burger Kings, Subways of the world also probably get coded as fast-food and therefore excluded.
Does chase offers dropdown show your checking account number or Debit card?
In the past, I have had issues getting credit for a similar offer on my debit card.
Got the offer on my checking acct which has NO debit card, so it's useless there. Did not get it on my chase freedom unltd. where I would put a restaurant charge.
Other family members got it on their checking accts which have associated debit cards.
