I just connected it up to the battery, it blinked like a christmas tree & lit up white on the zappy icon LED and then it started.
So much easier and safer than jumper cables!
I now own 3 of these.
I have since upgraded to the Gooloo GP2000 and GP4000 for my cars and my wife's car. The Gooloo's have been rock solid and keep their charge for a crazy long time. I set a google calendar reminder every 6 months to recharge them and they have always been nearly full.
I have jumpstarted my wife's Mazda CX-5, my BMW 335, my mother in laws 4L V6 Tacoma and sometimes random stranger's cars that need a boost without a single issue with my Gooloo jump starters. Once we tried to jump start my wife's Mazda CX-5 after her sister left the interior light on and the GB40 we had at the time in her car couldn't do it.
FYI Project Farm also tested the GB40 and it didn't do very well, he also tested both the Gooloo's that I have and they did great.
This is the Gooloo I have in my 6cyl BMW that has worked great. BTW it has a Coupon which makes it the same price as this GB40, only way better in my personal experience: https://www.amazon.com/GOOLOO-GP2...NrPXRydWU
With that being said, there has been times where I'm by myself, on flat ground, trying to push my heavy ass adventure bike to a running start, while wearing full protective gear in 90+ degree weather, where I would've killed for this Jumpstarter.

I spent hours and hours last couple of days on having one of these. So, I have narrowed it down to
Gooloo GT4000s, 4000amp, and 28600 mah battery, for 130 on Amazon and Walmart right now, GT series has newer features such as lcd display etc. (GT4000, without the s, has some warming feature for ultra cold climate and is around 200) this high capacity is worth it for peace of mind
Gooloo GP4000, is almost the same above but without the LCD feature and some less whistles, is 110 on Walmart and Amazon.
Yesper yjs40 with 4120Amp but less mah battery than gooloo has also good rating, and only 90 on Walmart, 150 on Amazon
I can not begin how much contradictions, and flawed reviews I have found, nothing consistent. But, that's what I have picked lesser of all evils and on lower end price with high Amp and mah battery. I am torn between gooloo gt4000s for 130 (extra 20 over gp model may be worth ot for newer improved features) and yesper with around 4.7/4.8 user ratings. If you find something, please add. But don't go for lower than 3000amp on Lithium starters and always look for higher mah batteries as a general rule.
Alternatively, the acid lead batteries JNC660 from clore on Walmart is about a good one but is old style, heavy and bulky.
A cheap, china made GooLoo box (that was half charged and cold), turned it over without hesitation. This things externals look nice and seem well built, internals are weak.
A sheep in wolfs clothing.
they've changed the clamps on these... that new style doesn't look great.

It was a 2020 dodge charger pursuit 5.7 AWD rear battery vehicle that was in 40 degree weather. Gooloo didnt have an issue.

nice car btw, i'm sure that thing is fun with AWD... i've only driven RWD chargers.

Probably the part most overlook with these is they are much safer to use than jumper cables for the average person. You might be the smartest person around but if the other person connects their battery side wrong, either start a fire or roast the ECUs in either car. Then both cars are dead. A little jump start battery helps remove the damage component to your own car or truck when you go to help someone.
