None of the third party accessories work nearly as well. The pencil is probably the best thing to happen to ipads, and the price rarely drops because there are no competitors that come close

The Crayon was a good alternative for the Gen 1 Pencil. The Gen 2's wireless charging and pressure sensitivity make the Crayon less competitive.

The Pencil is a funny thing. A select group of people love it, but for the majority- you're not sure you'll use it, you buy it, then you end up using it exactly as much as you think you will LMAO

Mine sits on the side of my iPad, patiently waiting to be used some day...

Just know that Gen 2 doesn't work with standard IPad. Even the most recent iPad (standard) is not compatible with Gen 2.
