BTW, plays great on the Steam Deck and the battery lasts FOREVER when playing MGS. Really, battery lasts much longer than it should.

The moment to moment gameplay is great--I just wish it was wrapped in a story that was good.
Also, post game/end game stuff after the main story is just recycled previous levels with unfun modifiers added on.

BTW, not sure if you have seen it yet but https://gg.deals/ is awesome for finding when games go on sale via the various 'official stores' (Steam, Epic, etc) and other keyshops. Keyshops are not shown by default so you need to click that option on. My personal preference is have Steam only DRM shown and to show both mainstream stores and keyshops. I check the new deals probably a dozen times a day because it updates constantly and sometimes really cheap games are only on sale for a few minutes / hours (not sure why).
Ground Zeroes is only supposed to be an hour or two and most of the other DLC is cosmetic (I believe) so I didn't think 'the Definitive Experience' was worth the extra money. Ground Zeroes sells for about $1.25 alone on the keyshops so worst case if I beat the main game I can always buy that is I am itching for an hour more of game play.

I bought the game and finished on the Deck with no issues.
