Everybody and their mothers think they need stiff flex… close to half the people who are using stiff should be on regs, some xstiff. Plus every brands stiffs and regulars are different so getting fit is a good idea if you're investing in a set, or else there is a good chance you're gonna keep buying sets until you find something that suits you. Get fit, buy once cry once, and have a set you can prob use for a decade… hell even some tour pros are using irons from 5-6 years ago.

That being said not a bad deal if you're not super serious about golf and want something new.

It's actually 6-GW + 5 hybrid. This combo set doesn't have a 5 iron.

Bingo. Visit your local pro shop and hit whatever clubs you are interested in. Only then will one get the right club and shaft. There is no one size fits all. Find a golf demo day where the various mfg's show their clubs and offer big discounts too.

From a value perspective this is a very good deal. 2022 model under $100 per club, which includes a 5H versus a 5i.

Agree with most that this is a good deal. One comment about the 5H... My last set of irons (Callaway Razr XF) was 5H, 6-W and I had a gapping issue between the 6i and 5H. I ended up carrying a different 5i to bridge the gap. I can't speak for these irons and everyone's swing is different, so YMMV. Just a heads up about my experience.

I don't understand that sets seem to be going away from a 4i and now even a 5i? How bad to you have to be that you can't hit a 5i? I carry Driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 4i-SW. I guess this has a gap wedge….

They jack the lofts. The 6i is 23degree. So pretty much a 5i from a few years ago or a 4i from many years ago. Not doing the way with them. Just renumbering them. I think so they can sell more wedges
