Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.
Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.
If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.
Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.
If someone redeemed Superfan code and you received $100 coupon (not a Superfan code) to spend on Google store, will that stack up?
I don't really have a way to test that. I currently have an active superfan referral code as well as a $100 off superfan coupon from a previous referral. I tested stacking those and they do not seem to stack.
I don't know for sure how your non-superfan coupon would work, but I'm guessing it would be similar and would not work.
The Pixel 7 Pro build quality is terrible. Feels plasticky and cheap in your hand. Raised curved screen edges don't play well with a bumper case as it registers as screen touches. Also, the front screen and back hard plastic are prone to shattering when dropped from relatively short heights. The raised metal band on the back doesn't let it sit properly on a wireless charging pad. The battery doesn't last 1/2 a day with moderate use. You will also play heck getting your trade in credit from Google Store. I had to end up disputing the charge to get mine. Otherwise, the software and phone featured were great.
The 7 pro back is glass not hard plastic. You probably got a different phone.
Ah can't use my $100 google referral credits on sale items. I was waiting for the pros to go back on sale.
Pros for 199-100 = $100 or non pros for tax only. If it'd have been $50 vs. free I'd be tougher... are the pros worth it? My priorities are sound call quality, blocking ambient noise, outdoor noise, and comfort.
1% is hyperbolic, but the scanner is trash. I got a 7 as a second hone and its pretty bad. The google AI stuff is cool but yea I wouldn't want this as my primary phone.
They want people off old pixels that get free photo storage. They don't care about you using an old watch.
Heh, I still keep my original Pixel Pro around just to transfer my photos and videos to it and upload them to Google Photos at original quality for free. It's a manual process, but I don't mind.

I traded in an S21 FE last November for a pixel 7. In my opinion, the Pixel 7 is light years better than the S21. I will never go back to Samsung's chaotic system. I hated having two app stores and not getting timely updates. The S21's specs were great, but all the special Pixel features are excellent and the camera takes much better pictures for me. I love the call screening. I now enjoy the monthly updates. The camera is phenomenal. I like the simplicity. The photo unblur feature fixes all my old pictures from the last 20 years and makes them look modern and clear. I can't imagine a better phone (other than the 7Pro)
the regular buds or the bud pros? Why are they garbage? (and why should I trust you)
Personally I enjoy the A series buds. They work well and pair easier than any other cheapy buds I've had in the past. I'm considering picking up the pro series since I have some store credit.
Pixel Pro buds or Beats Fit Pro? They are same price at BB.
I say Beats...I cannot get the Pixel Pros to stay in ear...even changing to aftermarket tips. Doing a quick google search...I'm not alone on this issue, by far.
I traded in a 6 for a 7 awhile back because it was free but honestly I can't really tell the difference between the two. Same mediocre battery life, same frustrating fingerprint scanner (face unlock works great though), same camera. The picture unblur didn't work at all the 5 or so times I tried it. So if you can find a cheaper 6 I'd probably go for that instead. The pixel 6 and 7 have their faults but they are still fantastic bargains.

Seoul swe can't compare with swe in the Bay Area for obvious reasons.
It's worth mentioning that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro camera glass have been spontaneously shattering. Google has not been great about repairing it under warranty. YMMV.

Yup: "Pixel 7 owners report 'spontaneously' shattering camera glass / The breakages are reportedly happening despite phones not being knocked or dropped. Some owners say they've discovered the issue after use in cold temperatures." https://www.theverge.com/2023/1/6...rranty-fix
