Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.
Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.
If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.
Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.
S23 vs Pixel 7
iPhone 11 trade
S23 - free + tax + 4 months of service (Google fi) 256 GB
Pixel 7 - 120 + tax + unlocked (Google store) 128 GB
S23 will get one more year extra os upgrade.
Which one you choose?
I'd go for the S23 as long as you will use the service. I am replying on on ald Ssnsung phone from about 7 years ago.(my work phone) after my personal phone broke this week. I am amazed at how well it still works.
Some of the trade-in values they offered on black friday were honestly pretty wild. The amounts they are offering now are still decent in most cases. I have a Pixel 4a 5G that is great, but it's only guaranteed security updates through November. $250 trade in value is not bad since its will soon fall off the depreciation cliff.

Pixel 7 Pro here (formerly 6 Pro.) Maybe 1 in 40 times it'll say "not recognized" and I'll realize that I'm off center.
I will say that I REALLY miss the camera unlock on the 4XL. The way it worked with Wallet (and other bio auth apps) was super slick and can't be compared with what the P6 or 7 has. The 7 has camera unlock but it's only for the home screen and isn't IR.

I agree with the guy that said it's not worth going from a 5a to a 6a. You gain the tensor but 6's(at least in my experience) and 5g modem issues. I have a 7 now and it's great, if I were in your shoes I'd just wait for the 7a to drop.
My wife has the 6a, but I haven't used it for more than a few minutes when my phone wasn't available. I was debating waiting for the 7a, but the 5a has a trade in value of $280. So $220 isn't a bad price for an upgrade.
I have a 7pro with none of those issues. I would suggest that you try a factory reset and make sure you have all of the updates.
I unfortunately have to agree with this. I have a P6P and P7P and the battery and heating is bad. I've done factory resets and even got a new P7P replacement for a bad screen and replacement same issues.
Anybody here using the LTE version? Debating if the LTE is worth getting over the Wi-Fi version.
I've been waiting on a $50 off sale, so I picked it up today. The $100 store credit from buying the Pixel 7 didn't hurt.
I had left my phone at a friend's this weekend and didn't realize until I just got home. I thought, dammit, I wish I had bought that watch, then I wouldn't have to head back that night.
Being without my phone is what's worth the $50 LTE surcharge to me. Less bulk.
I just found out that you cannot load it with music, which was one of my main uses. You have to stream, e.g., YouTube Music or Spotify. Luckily, I have Prime, so Amazon Music works.
Main reasons for a watch were map directions and music while biking, don't really need the fitness app. Maybe I'll try the sleep tracker.

Do they give full credit for cracked phones? Have an iphone SE 2 (?)
Edit:
Looks like slightly less trade credit depending on the phone.
Surprisingly pixel 2 xl only is $25 trade in.

Pixel 2/XL - 5a gets unlimited compressed/high quality storage.
As long as you upload photos from the device it will not take up space.
Battery is shot on my Pixel XL, but I'll never trade it out!
