Much better post, OP, than this older staff post with outdated prices. I'll show you some love. I don't have a deal alert set for Merrell; it's just that the other deal post popped up for me in either Popular Deals or Trending Deals for some reason, even though it had few thumbs, no comments, and was five days old. Suspicious.

Well thank you sir! Like I said, these prices are the best price since BF. I would pick up another pair of boots like the ones I bought for BF, but my boots are not considered winter boots, I got the brown boots for $45, Link [merrell.com].

Purchased the Nova Boots the last time this deal came around as they seemed more my style. If you end up with those, go at least a half size up as I did and its a snug fit with thin socks. But I also have fat feet, so more narrow feet could be fine

Seriously, and I think this jungle mid zip polar is by far the least expensive Vibram Arctic Grip soled shoe I can find. The shoe itself seems to be of high quality but that Vibram Arctic Grip sole is worth the price by itself

The Jungle Mid zip runs small. Order at least a half size up. I'm currently going through the exchange process with Merrill. My normal size 11.5 was way too tight. Hoping the size 12 fits ok.

I bought this in December for the 12 Days of Deals promos and got it for $40, but this is still a good price.

I like it as a quick shoe to throw on when I need to quickly walk the dog in slushy conditions because it has the zip up side instead of laces. Even though it has the Arctic Grip, it isn't quite as good as the soles on their more expensive winter boots. It's not the most stylish, but it's pretty warm and waterproof. You need to wear taller socks with this, as the taller cuff on it is a loose fit and will rub you raw if you do longer walks with shorter socks.

These must be "insulated" by southern standards Stick Out Tongue I would be all over another pair of Merrells but 100-200gr insulation isn't worth much in the snow.

This is a nice little boot. Comfortable warm and that Artic Grip sole is killer. I picked up a pair on the last post. I always buy half a size smaller and wide width on the Merrell footwear. My current favorite brand, and I typically have a hard time finding comfortable shoes.
