Using a card payment processor at 2.9% you'd be able to cycle $4,000 for $116 in fees - add the $69 card fee and you're at $185 for Companion Pass and 34,000 points, which is a solid deal for 11 months of pass.
I got the Priority card a little over a year ago. I was able to add the card to ApplePay before getting the physical card.
Once the card appears in your accounts in the Chase app
go to the card,
click Show More under Account Services
Click Digital Wallets
I was able to add the card to ApplePay. GPay and Paypal are also offered but I did not try to add those.
Hope this helps someone. It's possible they changed this since I did do it over a year ago.
Have done the CP many times. This looks like an easy way to get it. Too bad I have no desire to fly anymore.

I am pre approved for $300 statement credit and 10000 points if I spend $500 ( which I already did). Is it worth to get this offer (30K points + CP) or just stay with what I was pre approved. Spoke to chase, they are okay with any promotion. I already booked tickets for my summer vacation and I don't have any plans on buying any future flight tickets until end of February 2024. So CP is not very useful..can someone suggest on deciding which promotion to chose?
anyone have some tips to burn 4k on the card quick?
lots of big gift cards?
i looked at paying my mortgage via plastiq but they don't allow it with Visas which these SW cards are...

1. Try pre-paying your utilities ahead of time. Most utility companies will allow credit card payments with a small fixed fee.
2. Pay/Pre-pay Medical Bills
3. Pay/Pre-Pay Cell Phone / Internet
4. Buy Amazon (or others) gift cards at grocery market with gas rewards and double dip
5. Buy Southwest Gift Cards if you're gonna use it anyway
Just adding ... those with a Costco account, get your Southwest gift card at Costco. Costco often has it for 10% off ($450 for a $500 card. And right now they are offering it for $430). By charging it to your Southwest card instead of your Costco Citibank card, you lose the 2% cashback for Costco purchases ($8.60) but it might be worth it if you need to reach your spending limit.
i hit my 4k a few days after my monthly cycle ended.. Do I have to wait till this cycle ends before my companion is active?
Yes. You will get an email from southwest a day after the closing date.

You answered your own question... Unless having companion pass inspires you to take a trip to Hawaii or elsewhere. Last year, we used ours as an excuse to visit friends and family throughout the country... From DC to NY, from Albuquerque to Kansas City. But if you are sure you won't travel... Then this deal isn't for u...

Yep, I just called: I hit $4k shortly after my billing cycle, so I have to wait another three weeks

Do you guys get the companion pass and the 30k points at the same time? I got my companion pass early this week but the 30k points haven't shown up yet.
I should receive my companion pass at the end of this month. If I book a flight in early April now, can I add my companion to my existing reservation? (Prices jump a lot for reservations after two weeks, and I need to visit some family asap).

Was wondering how much travel credit 30k translates to?
Yes. You will get an email from southwest a day after the closing date.

Going to Southwest and looking at ticket prices, and then switching from "$" to "points"... It appears that a $400 ticket costs about 30,000 points.

The 30k points and CC still apply even when using someone's SWA referral link.
