yes, ALL ssd drives have limited number of writes into each "cell". all cells combined are usually represented by that "endurance" metric.
better drives can handle more writes because they use better types of flash (SLC/DLC/TLC/QLC best to worst) and better and smarter controllers which ensure that writes happen over the whole drive evenly rather than a few hot spots which will get worn out faster.

1tb tlc drives usually are rated for 600tbw or more.
Prices keep falling.
There are several versions of this you. You may not get a Phison e21t one. It might even be qlc.

$50 for 1TB is awesome. Too bad I don't tax any of my smaller drives. Linux just doesn't seem to need nearly as much space as windows. Still want one though. 😂

I reside across the border in Canada, if I ship it to Canada via B&H and select the option not to pay B&H Duties & Customs for $7.54 they are asking with a $8+ shipping fee...will there be a problem not paying them duties and customs for a drive? Its not a device I don't think it should be an issue to pass at the border?

any advice?

Yes, any NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive will work.
