Take used pods
Refill them with the cheap pod holder on Ebay
Use recaps to foil the top
use regular coffee grounds
the goal is to have some store pods of the 7.7 and 5.1 and 2.8 series. The other sizes are too big or two small.
Works fine. Avoid the Next machines by Delonghi.

I do this sometimes but it gets tedious. Also you really want finely ground coffee to refill pods. They also have a couple of metal pods on amazon that are reusable and pretty cool
Yea I really dug the vanilla and caramel. Hazelnut was meh.
I haven't tried the other two but the hazelino muffin flavor is really good. My wife and I went through our sleeve in like three days haha.

If you like some sweetness, try it with a pump of a Starbucks syrup in the aerochinno. I use a tiny amount of coconut and toffeenut it's fantastic with the hazelnut.
But if you're a black coffee drinker, it's going to taste really gross.
Or get a burr grinder and make your own fine espresso grounds out of fresh beans and use that, I do it always and it's 80-90% like the real pod, which is great. Saves me a lot of money and you save the environment by reusing the aluminum pods, I probably use the pods at least 20 times each before throwing them out, just wash after each use
My wife has similar flavor profile to you: fortado is a good daily cup, double espresso chiaro, orafio, Peru, and cafecita de Puerto Rico are her favorites

Nor are all the tips people are giving to reuse pods
The point of pods are for convenience, not value
If you are already going through the hassle and time used grounding beans and washing the pods and buying silicone caps n such...
Why not just get an actual espresso machine, grind fresh n get way better coffee/espresso?
