I have 3x of these. one for my grilling gear, one for kids outside toys and one holds a 20lb propane tank + 4 smaller 1lb tanks. I always keep mine off the ground using 4 bricks and I use caulk sealant on all the inside edges

Good for storing propane tank. Need to make a hole on the back for pipe to come out.

That's an odd question. The color of his caulk is his own business.

Serious question - but why store a propane tank in this? I leave my tanks outside year-round in the Midwest (snow/rain/heat) and they seem to be doing fine. Is it just to avoid the eyesore of looking at tanks?
You know oxidation, right? You should keep your tanks covered if you want to increase their life. Open environment me rust them.

Yes. I am over the age of 4 and familiar with rusting. But mine all have a coat of sealant paint and have been going strong for years. Maybe I've just been lucky.

you've been lucky if they haven't rusted out, my main thing is rust and kids.

CCC indicating that $32 is the new low price and that's just normal price. For a container that's under 2 feet tall, you an bring a 5 gal bucket with a lid much cheaper than this..... not sure why this is needed? Front page to boot???
bc that bucket is 5 gal and this is 19.2 gal....what am I missing?

It only matters if you are filling water with it to 19.2 gal. Otherwise you are just putting "stuffs" in to a small box, that's 12"x16"x21" which is not big.

To my point, you could have use a simple 5 gal bucket with lid to put stuff in or use it as a stand instead of spending $32 to which, isn't even a good deal.

But this is slickdeals, to each if it's own, you decide if it's worth to get a plastic box.

Based on the listing it shows a picture of it as an end table.

I own this and use it for package deliveries on the porch. It's not secure (lockable) but better than my delivery packages/boxes in plain sight.

I was thinking ~4 HD buckets but the dimensions make this seem tiny. I guess minus the plastic of the buckets and square vs round.. Feat of engineering.
