I have 3x of these. one for my grilling gear, one for kids outside toys and one holds a 20lb propane tank + 4 smaller 1lb tanks. I always keep mine off the ground using 4 bricks and I use caulk sealant on all the inside edges
Good for storing propane tank. Need to make a hole on the back for pipe to come out.
That's an odd question. The color of his caulk is his own business.

I was thinking ~4 HD buckets but the dimensions make this seem tiny. I guess minus the plastic of the buckets and square vs round.. Feat of engineering.

You know oxidation, right? You should keep your tanks covered if you want to increase their life. Open environment me rust them.

Doesn't matter if you do the swap instead of refilljng.

Sure, but why to exchange if I can get refilled a 20 lb tank for only $11 at Costco.

Apparently I got one that was returned. The box was in awful shape and the pieces were scratched up. It wouldn't go together at first, but there was some pretty bad overpour in the plastic molding. Once I shaved the pieces down with a utility knife, it fit together. I'm using it on my porch as a small package delivery receptacle. Hopefully it will last longer than the 30 gallon Keter I had for that purpose. Its top got demolished by 1-inch hail last year and it's now used as a compost bin.

finally putting mine outside. Live in NJ. Do you drill holes in them for ventilation at all? I was going to put my next to my grill as well but read that might not be a great idea.

no ventilation holes in mine but none are out in direct sun 24/7 neither, 2 are up against the Southside of the house and the ones that hold the propane tanks are in between the garage and the fence with the neighbors tree over it.
