I got the same set for $13.30 at the end of December, so unless you are in dire need for 1/2" shallow impact metric sockets, you could wait and see if the price drops.
I like the set. The metric sizes are the mostly used sizes, so you won't have a gap.
I needed this because I realized my Pittsburgh deep impact set did not have a 12mm.
As for the SAE... not sure yet if I'm going to pull the trigger. I don't think my cars use SAE, and I only have deep metrics, so to have a complete set, I'd have to look for deep SAE too!
