TMo executive board meeting:
"So, there's this Mint Mobile company that's using our network but charging a lot less. What should we do?"
"I dunno, copy their intro promo?"
"I dunno, buy them out with our $$$?"
"How about both?"
"Nice job, Johnson. Time to hit the bar, everybody."

No CC required. I think no address required either...it's very easy sign-up!
New user is new IMEI (device not used on the T-Mobile network).

^ Answered my own question, took a tip from earlier in the thread and found a years old inactive Verizon sim. Stuck it in and magically the deal worked immediately. Great deal.

Anyone know how to retry the eSIM install on a iPhone from this? I went through the process and it failed to activate properly. Had to delete the eSIM as it was stuck "activating" and then when I try to start over it says "uh oh" that one promo per user. But I have the phone number assigned and 86 days remaining on my network pass. (The app thinks I'm up and running)

Looks like I can enter in some information for the SM-DP+ but don't have an activation code.

If I my bring my own unlocked device, will it lock the phone to T-Mobile carrier? I don't want to get locked in to their system and wait for unlocking.
Network locking only occurs when you buy the phone new from the cell carrier on a promo. It is a one way process.

Once your commitment to the original cell carrier is fulfilled, they will send you the code to permanently unlock the phone to use on other networks. When you switch networks via new SiM or eSIM, the screen will prompt you to ever this code to permanently unlock that phone forever. In the case of iPhones, they will send the network unlock request to Apple's activation servers and upon using another provider's services, the Apple servers will permanently unlock your iPhone for good.

No other carrier can re-lock your phone to their services, your phone is permanently unlocked forever.

Getting an error "we can't offer you to network pass because your account details have been used before" while setting up. Tried with different email id's and different phones but same error. Any one facing?

Just now I faced same issue and fixed by using Google number. I had that number with T-Mobile in past and it didn't allow to try with network pass. If you used your number in T-Mobile, try with different non T-Mobile number with different email address which will allow to get this deal.

Thanks. It worked. You're right. Numbers were with T-Mobile before.

Wonder if you could use the number for port in deals on other carriers. Like the s23 Google fi deal.
