It seems somewhat deceptive to call it "Deluxe+State" when there is a $20 additional (except in NY state) e-File fee. Of course you can then print it and mail it to avoid fee but still.

* "State e-file not available in NH. e-File fees do not apply to NY state returns. State e-file available for $19.95. DE, HI and VT do not support part-year/nonresident individual forms. Most state programs available in January; software release dates vary by state. State e-file for business returns only available in CA, CT, MI, NY, VA, WI."

You took the question out, but in case you didn't get it . . .
In April of each year your taxes are due for the Previous year's income. You can't file a 2023 tax return, because you don't know what you'll end up making/losing this year yet.

Yeah, I'm in TN, so I hate all the "Deluxe+State" deals that don't also scale down to just Deluxe.

Been waiting for this price - ordered and thank you!

Edit - I am extremely hesitant to shop at NewEgg from the reviews, especially since the company was bought by a Chinese firm, but this order went alright.

I bought this a few year back in November. After several weeks of it not arriving, I managed to get a refund and bought elsewhere. It finally arrived in June.

I don't recommend buying this if you have an extremely simple return. I bought it and it felt like overkill.

TurboTax user here. Never use H&R Block before but at this price it is very tempting. Is it just as easy? Also can I file multiple times with one copy? I have teens that worked park time and I need to file their taxes too.
