No Thunderbolt. This is a deal breaker for me. No DisplayPort either. This version of USB-C won't support display. Lot's of monitors won't support 144 or 240hz through HDMI.

For a 3080ti, there's no doubt this is a great priced laptop. That 4090 tho....2k for 3060ti desktop speed or 4k for 3090ti desktop speed outta the 4090. I'm not sure what route to go. Thinking hodl until next holiday season to see if prices calm down some on the new stuff. The performance is super tempting. VR use is biggest use of the laptop.
4070m will beat this without DLSS, and beat it by a lot with it.

Currently, the Legion with a 3070 Ti for $1400 seems like a much better value, but I don't know the particular needs of VR. Waiting til BF is always better, if you can wait.

2k for desktop 3060Ti speed sounds...less appealing, even in the realm of laptops. I mean, really consider it - Two thousand dollars. For 3060Ti performance.

It sounds like you're really locked in to a laptop tho, so...if you can wait til the holiday perhaps that's the best course of action - it's possible the 4090 won't go down significantly in price, but it's hard for me to imagine it going much higher outside of some new Mobile Crypto craze or disgusting price manipulation; with $6 eggs the number of ppl in the $4000 laptop market may not be what it once was...
Just wait until next February. If you buy at the end of this year during the holidays, you'll miss out on the 2025 deals.

I have a desktop with a 1070ti right now that I play with but looking for a laptop boost for when I travel. With the prices of this generation, I'm not sure I'm going to upgrade the desktop yet. I'm thinking high end laptop to get me by for many years to come and I'd rather stick the money in more portability than the big box under the desk.

I have an eluktronics laptop and I can't recommend this brand. Way overpriced for their poor quality. Keyboards are absolutely terrible, temperatures are pretty bad, battery life is awful, I bought a replacement battery and they sent me a clearly used one sold as new. Usb ports stopped working on the laptop as well. Only positive is that it's slim. Buy a brand with a better reputation for this price point.

Can anyone let me know a good gaming laptop on Amazon that is $1000 or less? Im only looking to play like 3 or 4 games on it so I don't need 1tb of space. The games I'll be playing are d2 resurrected, age of empires 2-4, and mostly old school games.

Seem to always be waiting. You would think they would offer a great spec PC or LT at a great price to sell a crap load of them.

I agree about the Legion deal. It's not as powerful but should close at a better price point and better quality/support.

I have one and it's been flawless for almost a year now.

I am wondering should I wait for a 4070 or 4060 laptop? Should it be better than this 30Ti series?
